Grant amounts of up to $2,500 will be considered.

 

While most grants will be given for a single year, CCE will examine the possibility of up to three years of support for worthy projects.

Cyclists for Cultural Exchange provides grants for projects that support our mission statement
Application process

 

Grant applications will be considered at the next meeting of the Board of Directors, held on the 3rd Monday of each month.

 

Applications must be received by the end of February 1 or August 1 to be eligible for consideration at the March and September meetings of the Board. Board meetings take place on the third Monday of the month.

 

Applicants will be informed of the Board’s decision within two weeks of the Board meeting.

  • TFS Cycles
    Making Cargo Trikes in Benin City, Nigeria. We provided funds to purchase tools and supplies for building the first production run.
     

  • Boogaali Bikes Uganda
    Spent funds on building a shop. Plans emerging to host a tour in southern Uganda and northern Rwanda.
     

  • Havana Bike Project
    A Cuban community bicycle project supported by filmmaker Mitra Ghaffari.
